Dilute Sulphuric Acid
DEFINITION
Dilute Sulfuric Acid is prepared by adding 104 g of Sulfuric Acid to 896 g of Purified Water with constant stirring and cooling. It contains not less than 9.5% and not more than 10.5% w/w of H2SO4.

ASSAY
To 10 g add 40 mL of water and titrate with 1M sodium hydroxide VS using methyl orange solution as indicator. Each mL of 1M sodium hydroxide VS is equivalent to 49.04 mg of H2SO4
